Information we collect

When you submit a product inquiry, fleet consultation or dealer application, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, business name and location, model interest, purchase timing, service capabilities, and the details in your message. We may also record the page or product connected with your inquiry. Fleet requests include your industry, estimated vehicle quantity, timeline, intended use and any location or operational details you provide. Campaign parameters and the referring page, when available, help us understand where an inquiry originated.

If you become a customer, dealer, or business contact, our team may keep related correspondence, quotes, orders, invoices, service and warranty records, and payment records in our internal business systems. If you provide a payment confirmation document, we may store that document securely. This website does not collect payment card details through an online checkout.

Our hosting and security services may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, request time, and pages requested to deliver and protect the site.

Support requests

Support forms collect your contact details, request category, message, and any model, serial number or VIN, and selling dealer you provide. Authorized staff use these details to respond and manage your request, including its status, assignee, and internal notes. You may optionally email product photos with your request reference; please avoid sending payment details or identity documents.

How we use information

• Respond to your inquiry, discuss products, connect you with an appropriate dealer, or review a dealer application.
• Manage customer and dealer relationships, orders, support, warranty requests, and business records.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and internal systems.
• Meet legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.

A form submission authorizes us to contact you about that request. It does not, by itself, sign you up for unrelated promotional messages.

Dealer locator and location

If you choose “Use my location” in the dealer finder, your browser asks for permission. The site uses the location in your browser to sort nearby dealers; the location is not included in a customer inquiry unless you choose to share it. You can instead search by ZIP code. To look up a ZIP code, our server sends that ZIP code to a ZIP lookup service.

Ask Coala website guide

The automated guide answers common questions in your browser. Chat messages are not sent to our team or saved as CRM records. If you choose Ask our team and submit the contact form, the information in that form is sent to Coala to respond to your request. Avoid including personal information in chat messages.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics, connected to our Google Ads account, to measure public-page visits and successful dealer and fleet inquiries. Analytics cookies are off by default. You can allow analytics cookies or turn them off through Privacy choices at the bottom of public pages. When cookies are off, Google Consent Mode may send limited cookieless measurement signals. Personalized advertising is a separate choice, off by default. If you allow it, Google may use advertising cookies, identifiers and public website activity to include you in audiences and show relevant Coala ads on Google services and other websites. Allowing analytics alone does not allow advertising. Google signals remain disabled. We do not upload inquiry contact details for audience matching.

Our dealer and fleet inquiry events contain the form type and page address, not your name, email, phone number, business details, or message. We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send. Staff CRM and ERP pages are excluded from this integration. Browsers that visit those pages are also excluded from subsequent analytics and advertising events using a local browser preference. Staff can select “Coala team: exclude this browser” in Privacy choices on each device they use. Google processes measurement information under its privacy policy. Staff tools and hosting/security providers may use necessary technologies to operate and protect the site. Outside websites, dealer sites, and maps have their own privacy practices.

When information is shared

We may share information with authorized Coala staff, a dealer when needed to respond to your request, and service providers that host, secure, store, or help operate our website and business systems. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information for money. If you opt in to personalized advertising, disclosure of online identifiers and browsing activity to Google may constitute sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under applicable law. To opt out, select “Do not sell or share / keep advertising off” in Privacy choices. We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping advertising off even when an earlier preference allowed it. These controls apply to this browser; clearing browser data resets optional choices to off. You can change either choice at any time. Opting out stops future personalized-advertising signals from this integration; it does not erase previously processed data. For deletion or other privacy requests, contact us below.

Storage and security

Inquiry and business records are held in access-controlled systems, including our hosted database and private file storage. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, business records, disputes, and applicable legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to review, correct, or delete information associated with you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information where a legal or business obligation requires it. If a privacy law gives you additional rights, we will honor applicable requests under that law. You can also decline browser location access and contact us directly instead of using a form.

Children

This website is intended for adults researching vehicles or business opportunities. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website or data practices change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
