Golf Cart Financing: Questions to Ask Before Signing
Compare written financing offers and confirm availability directly with the dealer or lender.

Review golf cart financing with the provider offering it. Compare written terms and the complete purchase cost rather than deciding only on a monthly payment.
Confirm who is offering the financing
Ask the dealer whether financing is available for the vehicle you selected and which lender or business provides it. This article does not offer a Coala loan, advertise an interest rate or promise approval. Availability and eligibility must be confirmed with the actual provider.
Obtain the cash purchase quote first so you can distinguish the vehicle’s price from the financing arrangement. Check that any application or agreement names the correct business and vehicle.
Compare the complete written offer
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recommends comparing more than the monthly payment. Review the annual percentage rate, loan length, amount financed, fees and total payments. A longer repayment period can reduce a monthly payment while increasing the overall cost. Ask about the down payment and any conditions attached to an advertised rate.
Read the agreement for optional products, late-payment charges and early-payoff terms. Request clarification before signing if a figure differs from the offer you discussed. Decide based on the written terms you actually qualify for.
Keep the purchase and lender contacts
Know whom to contact about the vehicle and whom to contact about payments. Save both agreements and any required disclosures with your purchase documents. If you are buying for a business, ask the provider which commercial terms apply rather than assuming a consumer offer is available.
Does every Coala dealer offer the same financing?
Do not assume so. Contact a listed dealer and compare current offers using our pricing guide.
