Use this golf cart buying checklist to compare configurations, written quotes and delivery details. Gather the questions that matter before making a commitment.

Build your shortlist around use

Write down passenger count, preferred seat orientation, cargo needs, parking measurements and intended routes. Compare only vehicles that meet those requirements. Keep the actual model and configuration beside each quote so optional accessories or different batteries do not make two offers appear more comparable than they are.

For road use, confirm the local registration and operating requirements before delivery. All Coala models are LSV certified, including for California, but certification does not open every road to use.

Ask for the complete purchase information

• An itemized vehicle quote with taxes, fees and delivery identified.
• The exact battery, charger, included equipment and selected options.
• Written warranty terms and the contact for service or parts.
• Availability and an agreed delivery or pickup arrangement.
• The vehicle documentation and manuals provided at handover.

If financing is offered, compare its written terms separately from the vehicle price. Avoid treating a monthly payment as the complete cost of the purchase.

Make delivery a demonstration

Ask to see the controls, brakes, lighting, restraints and charging process. Check that the delivered configuration matches the agreement and record any issue before completing the handover. Store purchase paperwork, vehicle identification and service contacts together.
