Prepare for golf cart ownership with an organized handover, charging routine and service contacts. Start with the instructions and documents for your exact vehicle.

Make delivery the starting point

Before the handover ends, ask for a demonstration of controls, brakes, lighting, restraints and charging. Confirm that the delivered cart matches your agreed configuration. Keep the receipt, vehicle identification, manuals and warranty information together, along with the selling dealer’s service contact.

All Coala models are LSV certified, including for California. Complete the registration, insurance and other requirements that apply before using public roads, and verify your intended routes with the relevant authorities.

Establish a repeatable routine

Use the vehicle manual for pre-trip checks and the battery instructions for charging and storage. Identify a suitable charging location and follow the requirements for the supplied equipment. Ask your dealer about anything unclear rather than adopting instructions from a different vehicle or battery.

Plan early trips around familiar, permitted routes and allow a range reserve. Record any unexpected behavior with the circumstances so you can describe it accurately if help is needed.

Know where support begins

Save the selling dealer’s phone number and the Coala support page. For a question, provide the model, identifying information and a concise description. Keep service records as work is completed and review upcoming maintenance according to the manual.
