Utility Golf Carts: Choosing a 39-, 51- or 63-Inch Bed
Measure the items you carry and the routes you use before selecting a Coala Utility bed size.

Select electric utility golf carts around measured equipment, cargo limits and working routes. Compare Coala’s three bed sizes before choosing a configuration.
Start with the load, not just the bed length
List the tools, supplies or equipment your team moves most often. Measure their dimensions and record their weight. Bed length describes space; it does not by itself establish an allowable payload. Ask the dealer for the load limits and cargo guidance for the exact vehicle before deciding which model fits your operation.
The Coala Utility lineup has two passenger positions and a choice of 39-inch, 51-inch or 63-inch beds. Every model is LSV certified, including for California; public-road operation remains subject to applicable local requirements.
Walk the route before selecting a size
Check gates, loading areas, storage bays and the places where the cart needs to turn or stop. A longer bed may accommodate awkward equipment, while a smaller vehicle footprint may matter in tighter work areas. Compare the current overall vehicle dimensions rather than treating bed length as the vehicle’s total size.
Plan the workday and handover
Describe shift length, typical trips, passenger count and charging opportunities to the dealer. Ask about approved cargo restraint arrangements and keeping the load within the vehicle’s limits. The cargo bed should not be treated as an extra passenger area.
